JB Drax Honoré and Singapore FC continuing winning partnership
Singapore Football Club(SFC) and world leading specialist broker JB Drax Honoré have renewed their partnership for a second year, for the upcoming international HKFC Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens tournament, 16th-18th May 2025 in Hong Kong.
The Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens is an annual invitational soccer tournament organised by Hong Kong Football Club, featuring three competitions, the Men’s Open competition, the Women’s competition and the Masters competition. The three-day football tournament will take place from 16th-18th May 2025 at Happy Valley Stadium.
The iconic tournament was won by Brighton & Hove Albion in 2024. The Premier League side defeated Aston Villa last year 2-0 in the final. In the Masters competition the PFA All Stars narrowly edged out Singapore FC Masters, 2-1.
The full list of elite clubs that will be participating in the Men’s Open competition include:
- Aston Villa
- AZ Alkmaar
- Brighton & Hove Albion
- Leicester City
- West Ham United
- Western United
- Yokohama F. Marinos
This year the Women’s competition has been expanded and will feature international teams including AFC Wrexham Ladies and Chonburi Women.
Singapore FC, will face off against holder Brighton & Hove Albion as well as J-League superclub Yokohama F. Marinos in the Men’s Open competition. Their group of 4 is completed by local All-Star team Yau Yee Select.
