Club Values

The club is defined by our core “HRH” values that run through the club from top to bottom:

Hardwork
Respect
Humility

Hard Work: “Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard.”

To achieve any goal or objective the first step begins with discipline, dedication and determination. These are all channeled through the prism of hard work.

With a growth mindset, a player’s most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. This creates a love of learning and resilience that is essential to accomplish anything in life.

We ask all our players and staff to commit to 100% effort in everything they do. On or off the pitch.

Respect: “Respect is a two way street.”

Good sportsmanship and fair play starts with respect. Respect for yourself, your opponents, your teammates and your coaches. Accepting each other and ourselves for who we are, our abilities, our qualities, our achievements and our differences. Good manners, politeness and punctuality are our starting points.

Humility: “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less.”

We aim to be proud of our achievements, but equally to remain humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

Humility means that we know we can always improve as individuals, whether we are on or off the pitch. To do this we remind each other to invite feedback, show gratitude and share in our successes.

When young athletes practice humility in sport they learn faster, whilst also creating a support system for those still developing.
