BTSE & SFC: BACK FOR MORE

Singapore Football Club (SFC) has extended their partnership with BTSE Cares Foundation, a charitable foundation backed by BTSE, a world-leading crypto exchange.

BTSE offers simple, secure and efficient cryptocurrency trading. With products and services crafted for the convenience of both end-users and institutions, BTSE is the go-to platform for all things crypto.

The partnership extension follows Singapore FC’s (SFC) exciting cup run, in last years’ international HKFC Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens tournament, when SFC was narrowly defeated in the Masters Final by the PFA All Stars, 2-1. In the Open competition SFC was knocked out by J-League giants Yokohama F. Marinos.

The Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens is an annual invitational soccer tournament organised by Hong Kong Football Club, featuring three competitions; the Men’s Open tournament, the Women’s competition and the Masters competition (Over 35s).  The three-day football competition will take place from 16th-18th May 2024, at Happy Valley Stadium.

The iconic tournament will be celebrating its 26th anniversary that was won by Brighton & Hove Albion in 2024 as they defeated fellow Premier League club Leicester City in the final. Chelsea Women’s won the Women’s inaugural competition, defeating Kitchee Women’s in the final.

Notable clubs that will be participating this year include:

·       Aston Villa

·       Az Alkmaar

·       Brighton & Hove Albion

·       Chonburi FC

·       Leicester City

·       West Ham United

·       Wrexham AFC

·       Yokohama F. Marinos

Singapore FC, will be facing the reigning HK Soccer 7s champions Brighton & Hove Albion in the group stages along with Yokohama F. Marinos and Hong Kong local all-star team Yau Yee Select.
