Singapore’s Lioness star Ms. Ernie Sontaril has joined Singapore FC’s coaching staff, as one of their academy’s senior coaches. Sontaril is Singapore’s most capped female player, with a record 40 appearances for the Lionesses.
“We are thrilled to have Ernie joining us as we build out our SFC Grassroots offering.” commented Singapore FC’s Operations Director, Sam Balls.
“Ernie has a fantastic approach to coaching. The club loves the fact that she sees the potential in every player, that she works with.”
“Not only does Ernie bring a great amount of experience and knowledge to the club, but her growth mindset means she’s always looking to learn and improve herself too. The fact that Ernie was the first Singaporean female footballer to play abroad (in Japan) is testament to that.”
